Kayla Gallagher has an extensive 15-year background in dance, theatre and film, as well as 5 years of experience in theme park design, themed entertainment, event design and planning. Since graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2021, she has gone on to be a vital part of various diverse projects, including fabrication on Disney’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT!, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Star Wars at Disney Cruise Line. She has been the Designer on several short films, including Ruth (2021), Black (2019), which was awarded Best Student Short, Best Producer, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design by the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, as well as A Night In (2025). Kayla is currently working on a feature film and short film as Co-Writer and Production Designer, which will both be in production this fall.

Outside of the entertainment realm, Kayla freelances as a graphic designer, creating logos, merchandise, and various other branding materials for businesses like MEG Business Management, Lupine Productions, Tee Time, EMAFilm, and Angel’s Cove. As a talented illustrator, Kayla has also created concept art for game designs, including one she concept-designed that won a grant to be developed in early 2025.

Kayla is a go-getter and perfectionist in her craft, bringing energy, light, and unique ideas to every project she is a part of. To her, art is life, art is communication, and art is connection, all which she aspires to bring to those she works with and their creations.

Her hobbies include model making, painting, spoiling her cat, Maisy, and traveling extensively, experiencing diverse cultures across the globe (her dream destination being Japan).
